![]() Bob attended the Ebenezer Weslyan Holiness Church in Moorefield, Indiana. He was a former member of the Vevay VFW Post #5396 in Vevay, Indiana. He worked on Oil Rigs in Louisiana on the Gulf of Mexico, for 4 years. Bob was also employed with Williams Air Force Base, for 2 years & at the Top Quality Concrete in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Bob was formerly employed with Wal-Mart as a cashier in Aurora, IN, & the Ayler Meyer Feed Co. He had resided for many years in Aurora & Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Bob was united in marriage on September 10, 1963, in Carrollton, Kentucky, to Mary Lewis & to this union arrived three children to bless their home. For his service to his country he received the German Occupation Medal & was honorably discharged on December 24, 1952, at Camp Breckinridge, Kentucky. Bob was inducted into the United States Army on May 1, 1951, in Carrollton, Kentucky, rising to the rank of Private First Class, serving during the Korean War. Bob was raised in Switzerland County, where he attended school. "Bob" Jones, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, entered this life on June 5, 1932, in Owenton, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry & Lena (Perkins) Jones. Larry passed away at 6:00 am, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his residence in Vevay, Indiana. Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, strumming his guitar, sitting on his cabin front porch, writing songs and poems and spending time with his family. ![]() He later moved from Pendleton, Indiana to Switzerland County, Indiana where he and Janet resided for the past 21 years. Larry was employed for General Motors in Anderson, Indiana, retiring in 1995 after 30 years of service. Larry and Janet shared 32 years of marriage together until his death. Larry was united in marriage on May 19, 1984, in Pendleton, Indiana to Janet (Pickett) Burnell. He was raised in Anderson, Indiana where he was a 1964 graduate of Anderson High School.
